Hooky
This morning, my mom had a doctors appointment, so my lil bro cuddled up with me until I had to take him to school. It was so hard for me to wake up and take him, but I had to be responsible and feed him, dress him, and take him to school to learn. haha Well, just as I was about to wake him up, he grabs my face and says, ” Can we pleasssee play hooky today?” hahahaha It was tempting to give in and let him skip school and just chill with me.
I can remember when I was his age and mom would let me stay home and play hooky, haha. Its a bad habit to start MOM! One I never broke, I missed soo many days of school throughout my 2 years of kindergarden and 1st through 12th grade…. but I will always remember those days the most.
As much as I love my lil bro, I didn’t let him today. I’m gonna wait for the weather to warm up and let him play hooky for a beach day :] after all, with college in a few months I want be able to make these memories with my family like I usually can.
